Most peop... moreFrom Xperia Z changing to Xperia X, the design language has been changed, the loop surface looks elegance than Z and the phone can stand itself on a table.
The curved corner of the display is not practical in day use and looks ho-hum after few weeks. The Samsung seen to leading people to the wrong way to against right angels.

The S8 S8+ should show the inside of the phone especially the battery room!

Brainwashing people and forcing into their mouths that these features are what people need. Brainwashing people that "we are implementing this and that, you need this in your lives. We are the one who'll introduce this and this is really a cool feature."
If Sony will go back and focus again on their marketing, and do the gimmicky thing, then Samsung will be eating dusts. Samsung is no brainer.

Most people have an idea what features they want and buy accordingly.
For example , I have enjoyed Sony electronic devices over the years , but Sony's smart phones in general just look fairly ho hum in their design imo,
and let's face it , this year's Sony phones look a lot like last year's phones , and probably the the year before that.
I think most consumers want similar things , they want not an old looking ..... same as last year's design, and practical features .
Larger size batteries , better screens, arguably bigger screens with more efficient use of space , wireless charging .
While sony may get some things right , If you look at Sony's headline feature this year , the 960 frames per second slo Mo for 1.8 second durations on the flagship models , is it a cool feature no doubt ,
but it's not going to help me much
In my day to day use , I'd much rather have a bigger battery , wireless charging, fast charging ,etc and the option to use the vast array of accessories that go with a device.
Apple and Samsung are just leaps and bounds ahead of the competition in more areas , and that is why most people buy those brands.

Sony use the Qvono tech it is much more safer and prolong the battery lifespan.

I also get it for huge discount, coz my frnd is a sammy retailer

I think people don't like your definition of perfect and unique.. when I am gonna spend 1000$, i dont want a phone which looks like a green-board duster.. it should have a bling.. A 400$ one plus is just as fast, maybe faster.. but ofcourse I am spending that much to show off

LCDs have none of these, but the black levels are worse, and the colors are less vibrant, but still, why do people buy samsung?? Nokia was a global mobile leader.. they had huge amounts of money they spent on marketing the Lumias, but still it didnt work right? people still didnt buy it, cos there are weakness, people know of,, same is with sony.. sony is like JACK OF ALL TRADES, MASTER OF NONE !!

Omnibalance is still used because it is what japanese costumers like.

We had it all already.
Look at Moto X Pure, Nexus 6p or older HTC. All phones packed with front speakers have bigger bezels.
I agree with many users that Sony could pack bigger batteries. XZ has same size of Z2, the latter has 300 mAh more.
Sometimes people ask for changes without knowing if it is possible.
