SnapDragon SoC is always welcome considering its capability to easily be rooted/custom build roms compared to close sourced MediaTek, Exynos, Kirin, etc.

They should advertise idol 4s and unlock the bootloader too just like the idol 3, then the sales must get a big boost. I am still using idol 3!

This actually sounds like the perfect phone for me. Really hope these are true and Alcatel keeps their great speaker and sound setup.

Either way, excited to see what this turns out to be. All of the other sd625 phones have poor speakers and shaky 4k video. The other 5.2 inch phone (moto g5 plus) has bigger bezels, a disappointing camera, and not as long of battery life as I thought it would. There are windows of opportunity for Alcatel to seize if they so choose... Doubtful but hoping...
