Spigen predicted that S8 don't need their cases for protection because S8 is almost indestructible. It can withstand a lot of impact without a case. Another major failure would have, and the S8, as and S7.
Pre-orders (information coming from distributors and retailers from eastern Europe) for S8 are half, compared to pre-orders made in the same period of time to S7.
So again Samsung will spend a "fortune" on advertising ...on nothing .. :)

Whats the point of such a designed device when it gets into a ugly case? And yes, they are ugly compared to the overall look of the device.

i have spigen cases for the s7 edge..not very impressed..switched over to nillkin...i do have a supcase though..that simluates the s7 active look on the edge
