I still didn't understand when phone have so high resolution screen is hard monitore bigger but lower resolution screen. And so much ram and procesor is good why is still low resolution screen and phone heating dex cooling with fan inside. So why Samsung s8 didn't have heat pipe inside phone also. But its good idea for non game. But still for games os better windows 10 desktop or PS4. How about samsung monitoring tv and gaming watching videos i think is quite same like dex. But only would be hard to manipulate multitasking windows in small phone screen. But other is quite same like monitoring in tv via wifi, so dex working only like cooling station and standart dock. So whats the diference. Just develop vider screen monitoring via wifi and put heat pipe in phone. Also heat pipe would help for VR and 4K UHD filming. Healtier for battery also do not bomb.

For "work", so I can use Matlab and Codeblocks and...? Most workplaces choose to buy laptops, they cost less than Galaxy S8 combined with this DeX-dock!

What's the maximum resolution output or compatible ones?
Samsung should have released an 18,5:9 or 2:1 Monitor at the same time as the S8/S8+.
If you're adopting a new format you should support it properly. A monitor and the ability to have the S8 film in 2:1 were both missed opportunities in my opinion.
