I have read the iPhone 8 will be getting a similar screen, but how long will that be? Don't they still have the iPhone 7s version to appear? Still holding on to my iP6+ but I grew tired of the waiting game and ordered the G8+. Bigger is better according to these aging eyes. Anyway, nice to have a new gadget to look forward to. I also hear Samsung has increased production of the 8+ due to unexpected demand.

They copied from LG the idea to elongate the screen but keep the same phone dimensions as before (or make it even larger). The correct bezel-less design would be to shrink the phone size including the height, not to enlarge the phone and the screen at the same time, and find some lie to tell the customers about the screen, like "Univision" or "Infinity display". These are all lies to justify the fact that they could not actually make the phone smaller. True innovation would have meant to take the S7 Edge, chop the top and bottom bezels by 1cm each, and leave the screen at the same size.

Past is past. Bixby is supported in all country. There is no claim by Samsung saying otherwise. The only thing they said is the language support that is only in English and Korean at launch and gradually updated more soon. You cant remap it because Samsung put it there for easier access. You can summon Bixby in any apps in an instant. The RGB display Samsung promised for VR is already made. They sell their RGB OLED display to Sony to be used in PSVR. They sell Exynos version in Europe because the US need the SD835 more than they do. Snapdragon chipset is the only one that can support CDMA network in US. They barely make enough SD835 for themselves or even share it with other manufacturers. Europe just need to live without it unless you want go import US Galaxy S8 just to use Galileo navigation which I think is a stupid excuse. Any maps will do. Its not like you would get lost without Galileo. People live just fine without Galileo last year. Btw, if Europe made Galileo why dont Europe make a device to use it in the first place?! Galileo developer is the stupid one here.

Also retarded fingerprint placement is perfect too. What about pentile arrangement, surely perfect for VR. The battery surely is better (how about being worse than last year).
Surely you must be trolling, there is nothing perfect about this phone even by contemporary standards so much less so for future standards. It will be the worst sold galaxy S phone. Mark my words! The hype around bezeless (which IMO is a good thing used wrongly by Samsung, ie making the phone awkwardly tall) would subside and people would see it for what it is. Last year's specs in a new case. Bleh.
