Software updates and optimization is way better than Sammy's, not to mention the quality build.
Also, Sony offers official bootloader unlocking on their website. What's the point of having a flagship if you don't root it?!
But people are like sheep nowadays and they must have Samsung cos they are afraid their friends will laugh at them. Newsflash: if people mock you based on your belongings, you cannot call them friends. Period.
Only insecure sheeple will buy things based on their friends approval..
The 3T lacks waterproofing and most of all, SD Card slot. That's a huge NO from me.

Get the phone that makes you happy. If that means a status symbol makes you happy then so be it, but stop expecting Samsung to not make a fair profit because of the shallowness and failings of Indian society. Not their problem

It's very compact for a 5.5inch and the side bezels are as thin as it can be for a non edge phone(makes a huge difference as I came from a Zenfone 2).
And it's extremely comfortable to use with the right case. I don't use it much with one hand but then again u have one hand mode options for pretty much everything these days on large screen devices.

I actually just purchased a PINK Galaxy S7 off of eBay for the exact same price. It doesn't have to be black, you just have to know how to manipulate eBay's search engine. Although, this is probably the price for a brand new SG7. I purchased a like new refurbished pink phone.

And here in India....its price is $550....that's right... kudos to Samsung management ..in this price people rather buy iPhone 6S because iPhone is status symbol in India...if you buy a top end Samsung phone, people still think that it is cheap $200 set,,, until you tell them hey this is $ 550 galaxy s7..because all galaxy mobiles look nearly same...where as iPhone means an expensive phone, even if you are carrying an iPhone 5S.. ..

It's already sold for 1450 AED in Dubai.. around 395$ with all colour choices too .. Just Google Samsung Galaxy S7 Dubai price.. you'll find it all there ..
