Expensive handbags cost over £500-1000 need a drop test. Wallet and purses need drop test. Laptop need a drop test. Jewelleries need drop test. Plates and pots need drop test. Vase and ceramic item need drop test. Cups and glasses need drop test. Even rockets and airplanes need drop test, right? Because it make sense?
All of those things is as expensive as a smartphone yet they DONT need drop test. You know why?! Because drop test is STUPID!

I personal drop my Xperia Z2 many time in 3years usage, so drop test is important not because careless more important is how sturdy is the phone for it pricing and avoid any major damage in drop impacts.

indeed its quite expensive for its internals. but it looks so sexy than the xz premium imo.
premium means top specs and materials. but top doesnt mean best of the best. can mean 2nd or 3rd. i know you know my point here. not all lgs are premium. or even all the samsungs and apple. samsung got budget phones while apple once made the ip5c.

Secondly, you don't know what options I take in purchasing my devices, so don't assume.
Thirdly, the SD821 is not even a year old yet, it's 7 months old as far as consumer availability is concerned (ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe debuted back in August), and your argument still holds no water, because you don't know if the SD835 will even be a good Chipset, you're just blinded by it's Specifications and making your purchasing decision based off of that, which is not a smart buying method if you ask me, but hey, that's on you.
Fourth and Finally, the iPhone 7 compared to Android Devices would be considered to some as having mediocre specs, but will still draw a Mass Crowd, that right there should tell you Specs is not what sells, it's the Marketing behind the Device, that's how Samsung and Apple are so successful, it's not because their Devices are necessarily better than their Competitors, they just have one thing on their side and that's Marketing.

Those two are both Major Corporations, LG is competitive to Samsung and can be compared to them, if they wasn't, Samsung wouldn't release an S8 Ad 3 weeks from their annoucement to try and draw the attention away from the LG G6 that is selling VERY WELL in their homeland.
Don't ever try to tell me what I should and shouldn't comment, this is the comment section, where opinions are exchanged, I don't care if you disagree with my comments, that's your prerogative, but don't advise me on what I should and shouldn't comment.

1.premium product testing = what standard they have so it become premium?
2. premium algorithm on their product = it android right? what premium then? Samsung Android, Google Android, Nokia Android, Huawei android.
3. premium and original product design = really? now look is more importand then spec and overall performance? Remember, old chipset, old cam sensor, 72 h battery rating.
4. premium parts = wow! SD821? Old cam sonsor? how about samsung, huawei, sony, apple, google?
5. premium service = God damn, how can premium service come to $800/unit device?
6. premium users = buy LG and you will become premium user lol

If only they didn't ruin the camera.. instead of two small sensors, I'd rather have one that is decent. 14nm chipset also screams "budget". It's a shame Huaweii has significantly better these days. It seems like LG threw down the gloves but couldn't swallow their pride and still priced it like a flagship hoping some people buy it. I like the design, that's why I voted "hot", as I didn't want to send the wrong message, but my vote was taken as if I actually thought the phone was great.
