Every year Android and iOS keep turning into the same OS by getting closer and closer. They started at different end, but they are slowly merging in the middle. iOS started completely as a lockdown os that is slowly opening up and Android started as a wild wild west but slowly adopting some of the iOS lockdown (although not completely) restriction nature to better handle things.

Casino, 16 Mar 2017No. MIUI sucks. BlackBerry skin is actually pretty good. That's a matter of taste, I personally like MIUI a lot.

AnonD-646448, 16 Mar 2017Is it still horribly laggy and has a weak battery life or has this been resolved by now?On my Verizon version, it's a hit or miss. It's lightning quick sometimes and frustratingly slow at other times. I don't know if every Priv is affected.

$350 isn't bad but I'd say this phone should be priced at $300 or less by now. I still have occasional performance issues on my Verizon version. If BlackBerry fixes the performance issues (and I'm assuming it's a software issue since other devices with similar specs don't have the same issues), it would be such an amazing phone. In its current state, I'd give it a 8/10.

If you want a secure phone for business, this is it. Excellent memory, ram, SD capable. The cost of buying popular phones is you let popularity serve as a proxy for research and value. $700-800 for a phone? Not necessary. BlackBerry is a superior product, better functionality for business applications and more intuitive. My two cents.

Price drop clearly means the device is not doing well in the market. Though I've never tried a black berry device i would bet that my phone which is Mi5 has better UI.
