Hopefully it will be water & dust resistant.
I expect this new Huawei flagship equipped with Android 8.0, for it will be coming soon, and the P11 will be launched at the early of next year. I believe Huawei will adopt the latest Android OS for its flagship phone. Moreover, news on androidmall.co.uk showed that this new phone will first use Optical Fingerprint Identification, before iPhone 8 and Samsung Note 8? Will that be true?
Hopefully it'll be worth switching from my P9 by then.

They now have lots of advertising, more R & D, and all sorts of overhead costs like showrooms and overseas offices. I would like to also think that because base price goes up, so do the taxes and duties. So it adds up.
That's why we always complain that the bigger players have seemingly expensive phones - because smaller players don't have to pay as much in the aforementioned areas, therefore allowing for a lower starting price.
Well, except for Apple - they can do whatever the heck they want and they will still make loads of profit. I wish I could run a business like that.
It amazed me how we get from the first P series(used to be Ascend P series) all the way to this super expensive flagship-like P10. It used to be a budget phone for god sake. How did it end up like this?
Huawei? Who cares?
Who buy phone just because its Easter anyway? What a strange logic by Huawei. Its not like Christmas.
so its wasted to buy P10 this year
hope P11 use more quantum leap chipset compare to SD835

I learned that even though we wait for a better phone, they're all pretty similar in the end. There are some cases where they "revolutionized" the next model but that has only happened a few things.

Upgrades are inevitable in the first place and future proofing has always proved itself to counter whatever reason you plan upgrading. Just get the phone that you currently like and best learn to stick to it.

Like water is wet news here.
P12 will be announce in 2019, P13/P12a will be announced in 2020, CONFIRMED!!!
I don't know why manufacturers do that. When they announce that a future phone is coming, they really prevent me from buying the one that's about to come out or that just came out as I feel something better is coming. Not smart. I look elsewhere.
And the lg g7 too.. :)
