Well , MWC is over and so is the wait (still got a bit left for s8/8+) but MY conclusion is LG G6 while a nice phone i wont be buying it bcuz some degrades here and there + some exclusivity , i want all the good things in 1 package (wireless charging & quadDAC!! LG) so G6 a BIG NO, move on to the sony XZs/Premium beautiful design language but badly implemented "why so bezels!!" (joker style:) though that motion eye camera got me excited i may consider the sony flagship for my next daily driver (or i may not!!!) then the moto G5/5+ simply NO bcuz i dont like moto anymore then NOKIA this a NO too bcuz no flagship phone yet! and last HUAWEI P10/10+ now things will get interesting while P10 is a good phone but a no from me its too much like the old p9 , but about the P10+ ... in one sentence "it turns me ON" wow design is a combo of one+3 ,iphone&older huawei devices but that leica 2.0 pro WOW , the camera on mate 9 was solid enough (leica 2.0) this is the improved version (f/1.8 instead of f/2.2) so yes i will consider this on my short buying list for my next phone , now i have to wait only for samsung to show what it got then ill choose P10+ or S8/8+ , mwc over that was it folks :) :D

Their first ever flagship this year is so amazing that it was even considered to be the best new phone of MWC 2017. Agreed, that top and bottom bezels must be lessened, so I do think Sony will use its time to tweak the phone's hardware before releasing it, including the reduction of bezels (75% STB would be nice) just like what Alcatel did last year with the Idol 4s (the first version of the Idol 4s had no fingerprint scanner but the retail unit had one). We still have IFA 2017 for Sony, but the XZ Premium is a very promising power of a flagship that is ready to battle the S8 and S8+ and even possibly the Note 8. The XZ Premium and with proper marketing (either release ads on public everywhere or partner with major carriers for them to promote the phone even further) would easily make Sony back on track again, and possible to beat Samsung, Apple, Huawei, and all of the current top leading smartphone brands in the world. Even here in GSMArena, the Xperia XZ is more trending than the underwhelming LG G6 and the most-awaited Galaxy S8, only losing to the 3310 which will then fall down once people starts to realize that it's not truly a good or even a decent successor of the original tank Nokia 3310

Their phones benchmarks show their OS although maybe close to stock, it isn't optimised like the s7, pixel, oneplus. They have quality hardware i agree, but where has that got them in the smartphone camera department then last decade? Nowhere because no good having top spec hardware if the software isnt made well. Post processing etc of camera pictures has been a joke. Let's see if rhis new flagship changes that or they just added super slow mo to distract the fact that normal pictures will be rubbish.

That p10 is way too expensive and designwise far behind the competition. Front home button is no more, also are bezels useless nowadays. Let's hope the honor 9 will fix those flaws and get the pricing right. Right now we see all flagshipphones 650+ while some years ago with all same innovation and stuff we started 450+...I wont pay as much and tech-blogs should see they are getting phones for free, WE DONT!

Why don't they copy Xperia and reduce half of top and bottom bezel? That will great. Can't stay with that big bezel, no more asking just reduce that bezel a half.

I'll admit, Huawei phones are more powerful in terms of hardware, but they can't hold a candle to Sony when it comes to software. As for looks, I love how Sony retains it's own, unique and un-copied design with the new XZ, but I really wish they had lessened the top and bottom bezels a little. Oh well...can't be perfect, I guess.
