It's priced higher than a Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro and OnePlus 3T. BOTH are actually better specced with after sales + community software support to boot!
You'd have to be clinically insane to want to pay for this.

As what the others have pointed out, Malaysians (mostly) do believe that the price tags mirror exactly what the phones in the market could offer (but hey, atleast the consumers have become even more conscious nowadays :D ). imho tho, Oppo phones have always been overpriced just like the other tech giants out there.

Just because it has 6GB of ram, doesn't mean it should be overpriced. Alternative -> OnePlus 3T 128GB and you still have leftover for powerbank or protective case

That's crazy. A Galaxy S7 Edge is MYR2399 on Lazada. Who'd want this overpriced iPhone clone? Even a OnePlus 3 only costs MYR1599. Has the habit of taking selfies really become so expensive?

What a ridiculous asking price. Is this a joke? It dont even run on Nougat or having flagship chipset like SD821 in it yet it is overpriced. I hope Malaysian dont fall for this stupid greed by Oppo. There are better phone out there. Even Huawei Mate 9 worth better than this or iphone or any Xiaomi flagship. This R9s Plus simply not worth it.

RM$2498 = SGD$792 for a Oppo R9s Plus not worth it at all, with this price tag i must well get myself a OnePlus 3T 128GB still got change left.
