One of my friend dropped his S6 edge to the concrete pavement while he was standing on the balcony(more than 10 feet high) and another friend threw his S7 edge to the wall but their phone are perfectly fine and usable. Of course, screen is not cracked. Stop telling lies! Btw I am 200% iphone fan.

Fake for sure. This is the demo prop device for the note 7; I have three of these in my store. The note image is the same color and the August 5 was the release date.

It's frustrating that phones that need a case most, ie those with an "edge" display, look horrible when they have a case on.
Unfortunately this type of phone is about looks and not practicality.

That fingerprint beside the camera is incredibly stupid ... I bet the camera will get very smudgy.
So this is what samsung meant by "fingerprint sensor under the screen". Good implementation. Impressed as s**t.

He sat down on a chair and the phone slipped out of his pocket onto the wood floor. Wood! Not concrete! The hight was of about half a meter max. Now, his display looks loke someone took a hammer and punched it once really hard. How do you explain that?
The worst part is that he had a case on!
Another friend had an S7. He dropped it and the phone fell on a side. The edge display is ruined. The replacement cost almost half the phone! Now he can't use it cos the display flickers and is not responding all the time when he touches it.
I could goon but I think that's enough.
I'm no Sammy hater nor lover, I'm just stating facts that I've witnessed with my own eyes.
The display getting broken like fragile glass and that horrible looking touchwiz interface made me choose a different brand.
Also I've read on the forums that many people have USB port issues and frequently need yo take it to the service center to replace it.
By the way, im no crapple lover, so don't give me that bs.. I'm with Android 110%.

in order to charge as much as iPhone without having to have their own popular OS
they need 'wow' factor more than ever before especially now google is
making their own phone and adding more features to pixels exclusively
samsung used to have big battery / external

samsung used to have the best spec to justify their hefty price tag

samsung used to push updates relatively faster than other competitors

>maybe better than many android competitors but not even close to Apple or Google's. if you want to charge and compete directly with the two companies then you better catch up.
