I'm not saying lithium aluminum alloys are poisonous or blah blah. But when you mentioned "ductility" in material's merits then I said ductility is not a good property for a material which will be used in a laptop or phone. Yes alloys are also used in airplanes and spaceships but those are not ductile lol.

AnonD-523334, 21 Jan 2017Lol if it has good ductility then it will bend nice. i have no idea what wrong with you, people.. sometimes people just showed and proved their stupidityy.. aluminum also has ductility properties but we can see extensive usage of aluminum even in aerospace, automotive, military applications etc.. for example, most modern cars using aluminum chassis, do you ever see any car that can be bend easily? of course not, unless that car is crushed right? ductility properties is also needed, otherwise, if the material too rigid, it will be brittle and more easy to crack.. i'm sad, this is tech site, but so many people doesnt event understand this, what were you learned when you were in school, people?

Real smart.it's magnesium alloy, and its often used in very wide applications.. sony vaio laptop use it, roll-royce dashboard use magnesium alloy for their dashboard.. in fact magnesium alloy is often used to replace aluminum alloy, since its lighter than aluminum alloys.. You are very smart indeed..
