Global rom does not support Ota. You have to flssh it and God knows whatever tricks to get it work properly. Some say camera softw. is blurr, some say wifi problems some connection in speaking. Only chinese rom you can update then it gots too hot with Nougat. Why you need such a mess? Thus supposed to be top rated phone with decent hardware, but lack of quality?

How to go about... moredear @Vishwas, it is a fake rom by reseller. you have to intall stock rom using qfil method, which is delete everything on your mobile. so back up it first. if u don't want to take such a risk
unlock your bootloader and flash twrp recovery and back up every thing. copy it your pc, then proceed to install stock rom using qfil method. its not really hard but, be sure careful about what you are doing. follow steps as they mention.

I carefully read these instructions and carefully followed them to make my phone stock.

Btw, I just receive Z2 Nougat update OTA.

Snapdragon 801 doesn't receive drivers for Android 7.
Lenovo would like to release a Beta Android 7 for Z1.
But nothing officially will come to Z1!
