WOW
E-ink displays in the keyboard would be really pratical... especially for someone like me, living in a country with additional letters (as long as it has a couple of extra keys).
I really want a smartphone with a keyboard. Predictive text input fails me. Turning it off and the precision is not there, so it still thinks I've written something else. And often, when for example hitting the backspace key, it suddenly start inputing symbols or letters from keys close by, despite the fact that I press in the same place I did all along.
blackberry is a good smartphone, but the price is not reasonable
Note7 owner, 23 Dec 2016RIP Blackberry!!Another BlackBerry well wisher. LOL
Are you saying that to your Note?
Niko, 23 Dec 2016Oh no, another failure. Psychology keyboard nowadays !? That's a no no. Haven't they heard of ... moreAnother "psychology" keyboard.
That's actually present on BB10's Virtual Keyboard. It learns the word that you typed on it. It somehow "psyches" you up! LOL
BlackBerry have answered your "psychology" keyboard long before you thought about it. Isn't that genius, aye?! Hahaha..
Without pure android, nobody really will be interested.
It can only be mercury
Blackberry have made a mistake by getting TCL to Manufacturer and Development their new handsets going forward. They will be about as reliable as TCLs other brands like Alcatel.
Just look at the DTEK50/60 absolutely horrendous reliability!
Niko, 23 Dec 2016Oh no, another failure. Psychology keyboard nowadays !? That's a no no. Haven't they heard of ... moreYou would not have made that typo if you had a physical keyboard.
While i absolutely love that BlackBerry will still live on, in one sense of the word live.
It saddens me to see the signature Keyboard go, i was first in line to get my Blackberry PRIV which has a physical slide out keyboard and it works beautifully, because i'm a large male i don't have small feminine hands and fingers, touch screen keyboards are rarely useful to me, i always hit 5 words when i try to text using one, and having that glorious physical keyboard works for me.
My first Blackberry was a Q10 and i fell in love with the intuitive design, the fact that form was not a secondary feature but it was the build point, the whole phone worked flawlessly and never had hiccups or issues.
I Hope that TCL continues to build the signature smartphone and doesn't just make another "Droid" or "Iphone"
Niko, 23 Dec 2016Oh no, another failure. Psychology keyboard nowadays !? That's a no no. Haven't they heard of ... moreIt's "physical", "psychology" is something very different. ;)
Anyway, I love my Priv and both its large screen and its touch-enabled "psychology" keyboard. No on-screen keyboard can match a physical keyboard's precision, speed and especially the ability to type without looking at the keys or the screen knowing that you typed everything right.
Besides, who's making you buy a physical keyboard phone? There's plenty of touch-only phones to choose from, why wouldn't there be a couple of phones with physical keyboards for people who need/want them?
"Oh no, another failure. Psychology keyboard nowadays !? That's a no no. Haven't they heard of over the screen case keyboard or software keyboard? Come on BlackBerry, there's a laptop now with no keyboard!"
Just because you don't want a phone with a keyboard, does n't mean there are others out there who don't want keyboards. Some of us want hybrid device, both touch-screen and a keyboard.
Oh no, another failure. Psychology keyboard nowadays !? That's a no no. Haven't they heard of over the screen case keyboard or software keyboard? Come on BlackBerry, there's a laptop now with no keyboard!
Get ready...
For another rebranded low quality Alcatel phone with higher price tag
