It screams thermal problems and throttling.
xiaomi forum is flooded with negative comments. lol
also there is 16GB / 512SSD, only i7 + GF940MX...and it is $6999 vs current $4950
another BOO! 12.5" is also more expensive $4699 vs current $3499
sadly the 4G is partnered with China Mobile and no SIM card alot, which means it is a deal breaker.

I am agree Mi Notebook will have issue with heat and also battery. I love the spec but I prefer durability and also reliability than price because this is a notebook and all your working file and data will be more valuable
Sadly they are not going to launch this in India. Most OEM here offers laptop with pathetic build quality, display and configuration.Guess what they need a push.
I would like xiaomi to launch this in Indian market and make this greedy OEMs realise we are not their dumping ground.
People are expecting the cheapest Air comes with 4G, not a more expensive model. If I want a highend or gaming laptop, I would choose better brand new laptop maker.
mi notebook "pro" and "air"... xiaomi are very innovative when giving name for their product
Better get a ThinkPad. Lenovo's ThinkPads are the most reliable and durable laptops, but this comes at a cost
Problem is, in China you pay around 900€, everywhere else, you mightaswell just get a Lenovo Thinkpad and be happier with its durability.
Well, even if it costs "only" ~900€, the cost of importing it will bump it to the regular price of similarly specced laptop here. And even if it stays cheaper - that's not a price range I want to spend money in and be possibly left without any way to repair it should it die.
Not sure how that is expensive.. Laptops with that spec go for $1500+ and are far bulkier..
€830 is certainly not much for specs like that!
If it had a bitten apple on the back of the screen it would probably cost about €3830
