    It's going to have a 4.5 inch 1920x1080 display.
I'm quite sure that it would be a Sharp IZGO panel as they are the only smartphone display manufacturer who have made a 4.5 inch 1080p display.

A great idea and something that's been sorely needed since the Bold 9700 days. But sadly this is just too big, the screen needs to be smaller so you can use the phone with one hand otherwise what's the point of taking this over a passport :(

I was looking for something like this! All of these Android phones just look alike now adays! I can't stand it! They are almost all clones of each other! My wife has the Blackberry passport and I love her phone! I was so disappointed when I saw that (what I thought was) the last generation of blackberry had done away with the keyboard and conformed to the same cookie cutter design of every other boring Android out there. I am VERY excited to hear about the coming Mercury! It very well may be my next smart phone!

                              BB Pleeeease liiiiisstteeeen!!

We don't want QWERTY on an android device with a portait display.. it makes the phone too top heavy and it's not needed!

QWERTY's are good for people who do a lot of emailing and texting with occasional web browsing etc.. a small landscape display is much better suited and more convenient in the pocket. Bring back the bold 9000 with an awesome camera and music quality running OS 10 (or OS11.. made with the focus of efficient texting and minimal multitasking (like the old days)).

These frankenstien devices you've been making over the past few years are turning you into a laughing stock! You have potential (and good patents) just lack clear focus and balls to go in the oposite direction of the crowd (to a simpler OS).

Note about BBOS: i still have one and received an update last week. Its in daily use, its working but its absolutely not to be recommended. Im sure you BB experts dont even know that the popular apps are removed and replaced with browser shortcuts, its now FAR MORE INCOMPLETE than it was at launch, not even a facebook app for bbos10 now.

LoL.. Definitely it's a marketing problem of Blackberry. Psychical keyboard sucks these days. They won't even get the production cost from the market. Invent something new, Something innovative.
