Sony Xperia XA Ultra and C5 Ultra getting new updates

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2016July? I think Sony needs new software developers.Actually it depends on the ODM. Sony has a team that develops the "Sony UI" features for a base ROM developed/obtained by an ODM from the chip manufacturer for the particular platform (phone).

So, Xperia C4 and C5 are phones from Arima Communications - the base firmware from ODM is at the July patch and Sony just developed the launcher, UI etc. to fit on that firmware/OS.

Xperia M5 comes from Foxconn/FIH and likely they had a September build compiled for MT6795 platform. Sony developed the UI features and released the update....

its better "ignore/disable" it ... or continue "Download" & install it ???

Please can anybody help me ... it's save or will be making some same "big problem" just like my old Xperia C5 wich is already sale it to other person !!!

Sorry to say update has ruine my XA ultra. I can not use it because of it's high brightness even after selecting it for minimum very irritating for eyes.

Phone also started consuming battery faster.
