Nokia's market cap is $41 billion.
Nokia Corporation is almost 8 times larger than BlackBerry Limited.
If you understand nothing in business, why do bother?
AnonD-145833, 28 Sep 2016A company with Nokia branding will be launching at xmas. Will you say the same then?HMD Global is a Finnish company runs by Nokia's old employees (Arto Nummela is the CEO and he is with Nokia since 1992). Nokia will have a full control over designing and has a member in the company board, while BlackBerry is just now licensing its brand to anyone wants that without caring about designing or build quality.
Innovation is good, but innovation without following market trends will make U empty pocket
Was expecting some nostalgic comments and a dive through the BB glory days
Nonetheless, it is an end of an era, after Nokia, Motorola (and most probably would be followed by HTC), RIP the great old BlackBerry, the phone that redefined (yes, it did) the smartphone industry!

Once you have an Elop-type CEO who believes it's strictly an ecosystem battle, the writing become on the wall. These are no Steve Jobs CEOs with cavalier pioneering convictions to pursue unique products.

Which company will sell ... moreIf I were an OEM I would license the Hub from Blackberry for my end users. It allows them to get on the phone and off it quickly.
There is a growing market who are finally waking up to the fact that their private information is bring taken without being asked. The apps then are worth billions with 0 compensation to the user.
It's time for end users to start caring about their contacts and say enough is enough.
AnonD-551566, 28 Sep 2016south park reference? jajaja really funny :DLol I didn't think about that while writing that comment xD
I know it. After I migrated from my brilliant Nokia N9 with Meego to the BlackBerry Z30 which is brilliant too I wonder which company should I destroy next? Actually BB10 OS was in some aspects well ahead of time, only now getting caught by iOS10 and Android 7.

What have Nokia ?!?Overcrowded, noninventive company with sh**y phones, that somehow menaged to bluff MS for 5 bilion$
Eh I would'nt ever imagine that someday I will feel sorry for Microsoft :)
Goodbye berry
I wasn't blackberry user, but they had good marketing and commercial in my country, smartphones were taking them down, BlackBerry Priv was a really good move. They DID show what was the uniq with the phone about that keyboard. No other company would have implemented this ever. The omly problem with this phone was crazy price at launch. If they priced lower, Priv would get more sales. It had a good potential.

Its about time BlackBerry f++k away from this planet finally...
Better die with honor and shut down everything related to hardware.
Which company will sell phones by licensing this tarnished and dead brand?!
This is the norm across industries.
People will use existing designs they like with a tweak here and there to make it their own. I don't see the problem. They're focussing on the area which will actually makes a difference. Software.
