You have to sign up via their Mi Mall app and wait for a notification saying the 64gb model is available for purchase. The 128GB model with force touch isn't available at all. Mi5s Plus in both variants is available, no surprise..

i think there wasnt any need of a refresh ,as it wasnt the case that people werent buying mi5, and anyway mi5 pro doesnt fix any problems which whould have kept people from buying mi5 (if any) . the real problem is, they shoul make their phones avialable for people to purchase.instead of wasting money on r&d (even if they r outsourcing all the parts , there is still money required to make a new phone) , they should increase the production and "adjust" the pricing in india .i mean , whyb people arent buying mi5 in india is, version of mi5 sold here have 3gb ram and 32gb non expendable storage and priced 25000. in comparison , oneplus3 have 6gb ram and 64gb non expandable storage for 28000. interestingly, xiaomis own redmi note3 have 3gb ram and 32gb storage (with hybrid slot) and a very capable sd650 for 11000.

If the target of this phone is the iphone 7, why COPY the iphone instead of find a great, original design for the MI5S ? That will make people think the Xiaomi is the poor's men iphone...
