A year ago sony promised Android 6 for my Xperia Z2 Tablet.
Saying depends on my provider. I have no provider !
Bought Direct from the sony shop !
Until now end of August 2016 sony says we can not say exactly
when you will get it.

Alien , 24 Aug 2016First of all, every other brand offers Nougat for 2 or 3 of their phones, while Sony offers it... moreEvery percentage counts. Because if stock UI is a stable OS, then other OS platforms like Oxygen OS from OnePlus 3 should be on top as well, but it isn't. Only Motorola did a good job at optimizing the stock android experience, but Sony is still ahead. And exactly what you said is right. It's not always brand's problem updating their phones so if Sony can't get any update from a particular region, then we shouldn't acuse Sony for that. Though in the case of Samsung, they are always late at updates, and worse is they never do so.
