Blackberry's are built like tanks.. quality.. you don t have to switch every 2 years

Even though your bank app on Windows was not updated since 2014, it's still infinitely more secure than the current Android version of it.
Samsung pay - same stuff - it runs on Android so that's another no-no if you want your money/details to be secure.
Just one correction: I'm not a fan of any OS. I've been doing my mobile OS researches over the years and got to the conclusion that Android is too unreliable, buggy, and unsecure when compared to others. It's also the least organised OS out of the bunch - file system is a mess and it gets even more messy the more apps you install/uninstall. And yes, I've used them all for at least 1 year each. The only OS I'd switch to now would probably be iOS, but the UI is not as advanced as Windows's live tiles, and missing features are another downer.
I prefer quality, reliability and advanced features over the quantity of useless apps and the 'force closed' messages. (e.g. I like having my youtube videos playing under lock screen and in the background while I use other apps, without seeing any ads at all)

Here's a video that showcases some of BlackBerry's early productivity improvements to android, hopefully they keep the improvements coming because bb10 I still better except for the app sacrifice... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hwAuFvxP8W4

I love both Android and iOS but real reason is only iOS because there is not much of hardware from Apple to talk about compared to, say S7.
And yes, I'm Apple fanboy but not a blind one. 6S sucked badly because no major hardware changes and no one will upgrade for costlier one for just camera and useless 3D touch. Instead people will be happy to buy 6 if they are new, others like me won't upgrade.
Anonymous, 28 Jul 2016That is if you don't use banking apps and you don't make payments with your phone. And if so, ... moreI use internet banking on Android, never had any problems, I'm pretty sure that my bank app on Windows is much more insecure, as it isn't updated since 2014, because no one is interested in developing to this system.
I would use Samsung Pay if I had a Samsung smartphone without any fear, don't have to be brave to do that.
In the end you're just bashing Android, because you're a Windows Mobile fanboy.

And if so, that's the best thing to do. You'd have to be very brave (or unaware of Android's security holes) to share your bank details and other personal info with an Android device. Your money, your credits, your future problems.
AnonD-237381, 27 Jul 2016Yeah, but you forgot to mention that they switched from an ancient Galaxy Note to a iPhone 6, ... moreThe point still remains. They've switched from Android to iOS not just because of the lags and freezes. If Android phones were that good, they would've gotten newer (and cheaper) Samsung Notes instead of iPhones. But they didn't and everyone knows why.
AnonD-405901, 27 Jul 2016Clearly you know nothing and just a troll. You from Asia?Dude its what I have come to conclude from many different iphone owners not everyone thinks ios is good and I think you are nothing but ifan

Add encryption to that... moreI don't need to have a top secure device, since I don't work at a company that requires that, my personal files, like photos, there's nothing so special about them, never got my phone hacked nor got malware and viruses, and all my phones are rooted first thing when buy them.
Windows Mobile will never be popular, before I bought my Xiaomi, I used to use a Lumia 720 and then a 730, both of them had grotesque bugs, both in software and hardware.
Anonymous, 27 Jul 2016That's why Windows is most secure, as it runs each app in sandbox mode. Add encryption to that... moreYeah, but you forgot to mention that they switched from an ancient Galaxy Note to a iPhone 6, not because the Note wasn't secure, but because it was lagging like hell, given it's age, a iPhone of the same age lags a lot too.

(£275 in UK) For what is a high-midrange device and a 12,600mAh battery charging pack. The pricing puts it squarely with the other competition in the range - but with a big battery pack.
Can't help but think they really could've come up with a better name than DTEK50, though. At first I thought this was just a model name but it is what they're selling it as (on their site).
This could be what BlackBerry need to get back to the top. Not the still-overpriced Priv.
[deleted post]That's why Windows is most secure, as it runs each app in sandbox mode. Add encryption to that and you're all set up. You can install whatever apps you want, and company updates will still work flawlessly.
Seems like you only have a vague idea of how these three different operating systems work, and are assuming that KNOX encryption is enough to make a device perfectly secure.
From this point onward you have two options: you can either continue with what you knew until now and stick to it OR you can do some digging and learn more about this subject.
And I just saw that the army, too, is upgrading from Android to iOS devices.

AnonD-237381, 27 Jul 2016You're the same Windows fanboy that were talking s*it about Android security in another post, ... moreKNOX is just for encrypting data. It does not protect against malware and viruses.
And governments *used* to use Android (KNOX) phones until now, but they are all switching to iOS. You can look for it in the tech news.
