Furthermore, the Mi Max Neutral setting to not quite live up to its name, the white and gray colors have a blue tint. Yet, the reviewer found that the color accuracy improves if you push the white balance slider towards Warm. The white balance improves quickly (but magenta goes off).
Meanwhile, Xperia XA Ultra provide the 6 inch screen with good brightness and offers high-contrast and great viewing angle. It is comfortable for reading when you go the other way, push the brightness slider to minimum, the display put out 6.7 nits low enough that you can use it in the middle of the night. Apart from this, although XA Ultra color reproduction is not perfect, but more accurate screens in this price range are rare.
Sunlight contrast radio
Xperia XA Ultra = 2.906 (within 3.0)
Xiaomi Mi Max = 1.99 (within 2.0)
Conclusion: The XA Ultra have good sunlight legibility. Unfortunately the Xiao Mi Max is better stay at interior.

resasons are simple: 1- S6 was in GSMA top 10 interesting p... moreAll I can say is that whenever I choose a new high-end phone, beside the last generation processor and graphics chip, it needs 2 things that if they are not available it means no buy from me.
One is SD card and the 2nd is waterproof.
The S6 was so successful because Qualcomm fk..ed up everything with the faulty 810 processor. Every major brand was counting on them, the exception being sammy which had also the Exynos version. So at that point, the only phone that was the best choice remained the S6. Simply put, clients had to choose from major brands with SD810 that would cook an egg on it or the SD-less and waterproof-less S6.
I wanted to get the Z5 but I didnt because of the heating issue, so I still need an upgrade.
So far, the only phones that interest me are the Xperia XP or the S7Edge.

2- the market is full of phones without SD slot or removable battery
then these things though are good but not necessary! the good sells of S6 is the last word!

for a successor to bring unnecessary drawbacks is not something I'll take as a plus. It's not, and every single good thing it brought could be brought without these drawbacks as well. It's most revolutionary thing going was the design change. Screen, chipset and all these should be expected for a successor anyway. The SD card and waterproofing is so unnecessary that they brought it back with the S7 so...

People, it's just a mid-end device. How can you campare it to high-end devices?
It's like comparing an Opel Astra to a Mercedes S Coupe.
I am a Sony fan, actually I'm a fan of quality, but other than the cool design, this phone is not for me. Too big and specs too low..
Why on earth is Sony working with MediaTek simply baffles me. Id never even touch a MediaTek phone, no matter what brand it may be..

The battery is the thing which made it not buy worthy. Of course, for photography, a good battery is must. What is Sony thinking about battery? 2 days isn't enough , want 4 days.

Size matters. Way too big. They should keep up with smartphones, Compact series, especially considering it's being sold 3-4 times more than 5''+ phablets.

over all, i love the design of Samsung phones in late 2015 and 2016 and i think Sony need a revolutionary design to back to competition.

A Note 4 user, 25 Jul 20166 inch screen with low FHD resolution and huge bezels?? it is hardly hot... :( especially ta... morehuge bezels ? where ! ? what bezels are you talking about XA Ultra has 76.6% screen-to-body ratio which is better than any flagship . screen is awesome you need to see it in person and FHD is not low resolution . also price is not so high considering it's SONY .

WTF?! Just because it's a Sony phone it doesn't mean it has fat bezels. It has better Screen to Body ratio than most flagships like S7, iP6s, HTC 10, LG g5...
