instead of making too many products(like cycle, air purifier, hooverboard, lamp,tv, etc)...xiaomi should focus on releasing existing product in india also to take top 5..for example when they are going to release redmi 3 in india..it actually sucks

You know how slow getting a new version of android is on a device (even large oems struggle), especially for the heavily skinned ones like Vivo (unless you're Xiaomi with the stellar community support and engagement).

Xiaomi would still be in the top ranking if it would qiut playing BS games with their jiva ass flash sales!! I had my Chinese friend call in during 3 flash sales and on the last one she called in they were sold out of both colors in less than 3 minutes!!! Anyway it is very annoying when you want to buy from them and have to play these games. They should just make more to start with.

Extremely happy to know Vivo is in the top 5 global smartphone supplier list. It was very unexpected, Considering its Chinese origin and new market existence. I have recently bought Vivo V3 Max and am very happy with its performance. The phone is built on sheer innovation. The finger print scanner is the best thing I have ever seen on a smartphone. It makes social sharing easy and pleasurable. Totally recommend to others.

Now im using xiaomi mi5, a bit bugs but it will be great when global rom is launch..
Vivo and oppo will left far behind. Instead performance and user interface..if somebody say xiaomi 'suck'..better you change to another brand because you are really don't know how to use MIUI..

Either... moreCreating fake hype was xiaomi's strategy this time also. They forgot that this kind of strategy won't work always. Their least priority is after sales. They have built a blind fanbase in miforums where if you offer a constructive criticism you are banned and if you lick them out you get upvotes. Price to performance ratio is the best weapon for xiaomi but their stupidity is affecting them. My friend was an intern with xiaomi here in India. He was told that they have enough stock of any product but creating scarcity of product creates chaos in the market which helps them with free advertising. People who are not so tech savvy get to know about a xiaomi's product which is always out of stock and thinks that the product must be the best ever so it is always out of stock and buying that product becomes his priority. This was told to my friend in xiaomi's office.
