Anonymous, 27 Feb 2016Worst brand in updating phones, I wish I never bought my zenfone.All brands are bad for upgrades unless you buy the flagship models, my HTC M8 flagship got upgrade, Samsung Win (nothing 4.1.3 not even security updates), Samsung J1 4.4..

But actually you can upgrage them from kitkat to lollipop manually. Don't worry, it's really safe and official.
Your phone is zenfone 6_A601CG, so just follow this link:
http://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone_6_A601CG/HelpDesk_Download/
Scroll down, then click "select OS", choose android, download the latest firmware according to your device SKU whether it's WW TW or CN (check it in your device setting, about phone)
When download is done, put the zip in micro SD card (don't put inside folder).
Then insert the micro SD card to your zenfone 6,turn it on, and you will get system update file notification from shade, tap it, and good luck!
The process can take a while, so be patient.
Don't forget to do factory reset after upgrading to make the OS stable.

And the too shame is Zenfone 4, 5, 6 won't get Marshmallow.

Hmmm, super late not the update but the announcement itself. I am waiting for this for long time and i am very dissapointed Padfone S user. Might be hesitant to choose Asus next time
