LG did not reveal what camera sensor is used on the G5 main camera. Hope LG reveal it.
Because Samsung already revealed they uses 1/2.5" size Sony camera sensor on their S7 & S7 Edge

if you compare the battery to redmi 3 :P
but if you compare to them self from last year,
S6 to S7 battery, is increase from 2550mAh up to 3000
while G4 to G5 is decrease from 3000mAh down to 2800
we can see how bad that lg treat us.

Seriously if you know how to be careful with a device, it will last for many years.
I have a Sony Ericsson W995 and it's currently 6 years old, still putting to shame all the smartphones in loudness and sound quality.
So don't tell me about lasting. I haven't changed it's battery either, and it lasts a couple of days without much straign. It's all down on how much you depend on a phone

When a company provides that their product is modular the consumers start asking for third party modules. As much as I would like to see modular designs, it's so difficult for a company to commit to it.

This is not childish in anyway. They're just making a logical point. I believe this is an advertisement to attract some sort of spark in a dull mind. Unfortunately too many of us are afraid of change or to go with something new. I have owned Samsung's/Sony/Ericsson/LG's etc....
Thinking logically the s7 and G5 are as good as each other. The G5 is not ugly... That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Most phones are designed within 10% of each other cosmetically so I don't know which angle the fanboys are trying to push.
At the end of the day it comes down to whether you want to join the bandwagon the s7/apple (profit margin) or go for a company who actually has the balls to be innovative and try something new.
I conclude with selecting the G5. I don't want any SG6 confusion and besides that the LG is flogging the SG6 in the antutu test.
P.s. lucky I started off with a nokia 5110 and learnt not to swim with my handset....

Whatever LG...at the end of the day s7 will going to have bigger sales than your G5....just like your G4>S6 G3>S5.....just keep your mouth shut cause you will just end up crying at the end :-(

And I know that Samsung has some innovative tech, also exynos and all. But everyone saying the swapable battery is gimmicky, pls tell me what samsungs "edge" is good for?! Exactly nothing. Its a gimmick.

AnonD-505505, 22 Feb 2016My own question for LG is does every unit of LG G5 you buy comes with all its friends in one p... morewho said that for a smartphone to be sucessfull the manufacture has to gift as carity their accessories .... these are made for people likes ... and they are modular grab that in your mind .. parts you can replace... not part u will have to put on the device itselft as a case .....dont tell me audio is better on samsung because it is not baisc audio is 24 bit and with modular we are taking it to a new level.camera is better on G4 it has even a wider angle with the 2 cameras ....not to mention that the main camera has a wide aperture too,excellent for lowlight ...more megapixels by the way not just 12 like sammy did downgrading the camera.... always on featured stolen by sammy before launch....overall G5 is the way to go

The danger of having a removable battery is when you cant buy another original spare, you tend to get it on unauthorized dealer. End result is Kaboom. That's what samsung learned.

Kinda like apple fans. They keep lining up for the next new iPhone every time for a reason and that's the same with Samsung. Unfortunately for LG as good as their phone is, Samsung has a much more popular name and they are a brand that people trust more than LG especially with phones.
