its a cdma handset. hence instead of edge/gprs it uses cdma tech.

@vino, yes it does browse the difference is the bandwidth the device can support, gprs/edge runs on 2G spectrum which is 850/1800 and the fone supports 900/2100 spectrum which is 3G/HSPA etc, of which is quicker is browsing and downloads compared to ...
