Earlier this month, Motorola published full list of phones that the company said will get Android 7.0 Nougat update. The firm also revealed that the update will start rolling out in Q4, and will be hitting the Moto Z and Moto G (4th Gen) series first.
Inline with that, the company has started soak testing the Moto G4 Plus Nougat update. The test is currently being carried out in Brazil, and the update weighs in at 953MB.
For those who aren't in the know, soak test means that only a small subset of users will receive the update, and if everything goes fine - which means if there aren't any critical issues - a full rollout will follow shortly.
Nougat is not out. It's going to take a while for them to test, and they'll only roll out the ota when they're completely sure that it doesn't contain any bugs.
