Anonymous, 11 Apr 2023If phone were design with IP67-68 water and dust resistant, they usually remove the 3.5mm head... morenahhhh.. stop spread lies to people.. my s7 edge has 3.5mm jack and ip68 rating.. and i do wash it once a week or anytime i want still until now to remove oil and dirt.. pool river sea, heavy rain no prob if just splash or dip for a while.. and yes, iim replying to your comment using it..

AFAIK, there'... moreto give you an idea, when cyclone hit the States the radios was the only thing that actually worked. radio infrastructure is lot more robust and lot easier to re-deploy meaning it could save lives.
point is that it actually does not cost anything to be there other than when not, it forces people to stream the radio instead.
just silly and money grabbing driven logic...

AFAIK, there's usually more cell towers compared to radio towers. So if a radio station goes down, you lose radio in a few KM radius. You will just get lower signal if cell tower is down as it transfers to another nearby tower.
