I am using this one as my work phone, since 2015 Dec. Absolutely no issues.
A week back I updated it to custom rom - Pixel experience (Android 9).
It's working butter smooth. I think I will continue using it for at least a year or till I keep getting custom rom.

have been using this phone since 2 years and 3 months today, trust me phone is really hard and strong and is shatter proof water and dust proof, it slipped from my hand many times and i take it to shower and inside the pool with me. good for basic use and basic gaming i had no heating issues unless when charging and after high usage which is normal.
i have used honor 4x, galaxy grand 2, sony xperia play, motorola atrix 4g which didnt last more than 8months because of my rough and careless use.

Moto g turbo edition is a great device with shatter proof and water and dust proof which supports the phone to sustain the damage and live long mobile slipped my hands and fell down many times, i can take my phone with me to shower.
i haent had any issues in phone since the 1st day till now after 2 years of vigorous and rough use its still the same as the day one mobile. i love this mobile. trust me its still giving one day battery backup for 8-12 hours of use with 4g data.

Mine is packed down because it developed a software problem and technicians are unable to get the software. I used the phone only for 8 months and now I am forced to get another phone, if it were solely the problem of heat or poor camera quality, I would have handled that.

It's 2.5 years I am using this G turbo. Working butter smooth till date.
Never had any problems like heating or slow down. I ensure following:
- Using original charger
- installing only required apps ( and not piling up apps just coz it's free)
- I don't use any protective cover or glass over the original body.
- I do not use my phone while it's charging.
- I plug in to charge only when my battery dips below 10%
With above things ,I have never had any problems. Wish it had been updated to latest Android version. But now I am planning to install custom ROM and see how it works.

Been using this for 2 years here are my opinion:
Heats up very often
Gaming is pain in a## ,lags, throttling problem
Battery backup is worse only 3 hours if ur a heavy user, if u play some don't even except 2 hrs
Never buy this phone even it is "free of cost"

This phone was one of the first to introduce fast charging but I think the cheap price and the high specs take a huge toll on the battery as it heats up immensely.
I bought this phone and it heated up so very often, my gaming experience on this phone was terrible as it always got heated up and started lagging royally.
Not to mention the absence of a compass sensor (as similar to all other Moto G series phones) due to which navigation was a headache on Google Maps.
The screen quality and the handling were flawless though. The phone fit beautifully in my hand and the auto screen on made it a whole lot user friendly, but it made little difference because the performance of the phone was so under average.
I'd suggest that you do not buy this phone or even consider buying it. You'd be a lot better off spending that money in buying a higher model of the Moto G series if you have a higher budget or a Red Mi to fit within the 12,000 price range.

It is very important that you only use the exact wall charging power supply and not another power supply from another motorola phone, even if they both looked alike and said Motorola on them. Tis includes the cable. They can vary as far as the supply of power is concerned. Replacing the battery only gage me a temporary fix . Once I went back to using the wrong power supply again the phone was damaged and would not reboot again. The battery had just been replaced for $75 and that money went to waste.

It is very important that you only use the exact wall charging power supply and not another power supply from another motorola phone, even if they both looked alike and said Motorola on them. They can vary as far as the supply of power is concerned and the person who solved the problem by replacing the battery only got a temporary fix if they go back to using the wrong power supply again. I did this and finally the phone was damaged and would not reboot again.

If so, inquire at Verizon as to how to safely clean it. I have an idea but I don't want to cause you to damage your phone or make the moisture sensor paper show water damage ( I wouldn't tell you to use any water to begin with, but still). Start from here.

Raj, 30 Aug 2017Both the sim slots support 4g or notYes it does.
But Volte supportes with sim one only. It's recommended to use as sim for better 4g experience.
