Stop making false claims. The 2023 version does in deed record in 4k not 2024

Video choices are 4k (3840 x 2160, Also known as UHD... moreI think GsmArena need to update the video specs of this phone. I have this phone and these are the settings I see in it. Interestingly that Motorola US website omitted the 4K video specs on their own website.
Both selfie and main camera can do 4K video at 30fps 9:16 aspect ratio
The main camera can do 1080P for slow motion at 60, 120 and 720P at 240 fps.

Rather than debate whether or not the 2024 is not a downgra... moreThe POLED screen on the 2024 is so bright outdoor and absolutely no glare, it is like day and night comparing to 2023 screen which is really bad outdoor. Double the screen refresh rate and also it has auto refresh rate to conserve the battery
The cameras are pretty nice consider I am someone who has a Nikon D800E full frame camera.
Also, I bought it because it still has a 3.5mm headphone jack and also FM radio. The phone feels fast and never felt and lack.

USA bought phone, unlocked. Just want to share that it DOES have an FM Radio! You need headphones for antenna. Awesome!!! This phone ticks so many boxes... Very cool.
O and one more thing. I've noticed a lot of phone manufacturers have a pre-installed program running, that allows companies to promote their apps. Which should not be legal really, but laws did not catch up yet. Research... It is called a "Mobile Services Manager" or a variation off that name. Just disable it and live happy. I've done it on my other phones - with no issues; and no junk apps installing.

2024 model is currently available for purchase for $39.99 to $270, as an OEM version with 8GB ram with many different providers. The 2024 model is an amazingly smooth operating phone.

Downgrade, 09 Aug 2024This phone does Not support x265 10bit video codec unlike previous model2024 model records video in both H.264 or H.265 video codec.
It advises the user that H.265 may have limited compatibility in real world use, in other words, the videos recorded that way may not be viewable on some other products.,

All models so far include only 8GB of ram.
This is definitely an upgrade, as increased ram is usually the most useful upgrades one can make (PC, Laptop, Phone), if given only one upgrade option.

I am glad I bought the 2023 model. Rather than debate whether or not the 2024 is not a downgrade, people should be talking about how it is an upgrade.
As far as I can tell, the only improvement is an optional 2 GB more of RAM. Not worth the additional $150 in price, in my opinion.
