My unit tested with all the cables and many 18W fast charging adapter, all works flawless even if the Type C cable is below $1.

Phone had troubles with charging since it arrived, and it was a few weeks old max and it stopped charging completely. They said that nothing was wrong with it, and it came back still not being able to charge (but that is also the company that is doing the repairs probably). We tried 4 different chargers already... It was a nice phone when it worked though, it worked pretty smoothly for that amount of money.

If compass is important to you, then look else where.

The phone works well but there is no magnetometer and now as I just found out why the Compass don't work. This has now put me off of the Motorola G30. If I knew I would not have bought it. Three Stars only. If you need a compass don't buy a G30

Even 100$ nokia 3 had goril... moreNot try to be apologist, but this smartphone does has the basic glass screen protection, just that it doesn't being mentioned as which type of glass, but should be equivalent of Gorilla Glass. Bear in mind got Gorilla Glass protection doesn't means the smartphone is more durable, glass is glass and glass break, and this smartphone whole building material is plastic. Should anyone using it are advised to buy protecting hard cover as cheap as $1 back cover.

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2021Great but be careful with screen easy to crack and not many people have parts for itYou maybe right and wrong. Suppose if your country officially got sold the model, then you shouldn't worry as if anything goes wrong, you can go back to the official Motorola service center, no guarantee of good service as this is depend on region. Else, if you are purchased from grey import, then you might have trouble to find the proper spare part. Screen easy break or not also depend on how you drop your phone. Should you find a hard case for the smartphone to reduce the chance of screen damage.

Stockish Android are mean the experience, remain as much original UI and feature as possible without altering.
It is prove difficult to update to another version of Android version as software engineer need time to optimize the OS on this specific model of smartphone from Motorola, and it can be totally different from one Android version to another internally.
You are just saying from the point of view of user who wish all Android upgrade should be seamless, which in fact, it is not. All these need software engineering and time consuming, all consume cost. That's why cheap Android smartphone doesn't get free Android OS upgrade, because the process is not free.

After I bought this smartphone, I got 4 updates, and now it is updated to Android 11 with October security patch. Other smartphone released at the similar time frame not even come close for the updates.
This is for the one who favor for the stockish Android experience, but no matter how is the experience, this is a basic entry level smartphone. So, there is cut corner here and there, but it is relevant to the smartphone price.

Just bought it's exact clone set, Lenovo K13 Pro at around €125 at my region for the 128GB/6GB RAM edition. Among best entry smartphone at this kind of pricing.

Absolutely hate it. Was good initially but after 5 months of usage even basic apps hang a lot. Payment apps take forever to open. I'm seriously done with this phone. I strongly suggest don't buy this phone.
