Don't listen to these negative unintelligent and morbid reviews. Motorola g pure is an excellent excellent phone it is so fun to use and I've used many phones this operating system is user friendly and very clever. For the bang of the buck this is more than what you get yes yes it's a government phone now with shocks the hell out of me I had a Motorola 5G stylus that was $312 and this phone is just as good I don't care what anybody says I totally got ripped off but I learned my lesson unfortunately that phone got stolen by the scumbags that live in Poughkeepsie New York. This phone has it all yes it is lacking some things compared to the best phone on the planet but again this is the best for your bang of your buck in your wallet! Mauri, 31 Jul 2022Does it update to android 12?Tracfone is sending me this phone free because my current one is ancient. Tom's guide says it will update to 12. Hope that helps.

I use the phone for field work and drive to some unusual locales. I have to keep phone on for mapping and it must be connected to usb jack in car or after 2-3 hrs of use doing my inspections, it wants to power save. Will be looking for a different phone right after I replace my tablet. Battery non removable as well.

Bought at BB 6 months ago. Run on TMO prepaid. Plenty fast and with a sd card - fine for maps, chrome, Spotify, YouTube, basic gaming. For the price, excellent value. No crashes to note. Surprisingly stable with latest build. Battery life is exceptional. Only huge downside is no NFC for apple/Google pay

This phone is trash. I paid $50 at Walmart ($100 for 2 not including tax) and it constantly crashes, takes forever to load, the camera is awful, and it shuts off constantly with the battery above 50%. There are Samsung and iphones through straight talk at Walmart in the same section for the same price. My first Motorola smart phone and I am so turned off of the brand because of this phone. It has so many issues that straight talk removed it from their website sometime within the last 2 weeks.

Moto G Pure bottom of line phone actually dumps your contacts regularly!!!!!
I thought it was great that it ID'd about 10 numbers a day as spam, but then probly legetimate callers that WERE on my contacts, but were dropped have been ID'd as spam.

For a government phone, it is world's better than the last one I received (Alcatel). It is a decent entry level device with a big screen and great battery life. The cameras are serviceable during the day, almost useless at night. The MediaTek SOC is noticably laggy when it comes to the most basic of task. It they had been able to put a better SOC in here it wouldve been a hit, the form factor is nice and I love the color.

Great phone for the price, big screen, good battery, good viewing, does everything I need. Works great on straight talk. Can't go wrong for a mid grade phone. I'm imoressed

Hey at least this phone has 3GB of ram, the minimum requirements for android 11, unfortunately the pairing of brand new processor that is slower than molasses. For 160 dollars unlocked, it seems expensive, but the ram is what will be worth the extra 40 bucks compared to other models, yep, 40 bucks for a gig of ram is the only difference. The question then becomes apparent, why am I spending 160 dollars on a budget phone just to meet android specs?
