It's a great backup phone especially for receiving OTPs in your sim card which is often used here in our country for security purposes of different digital banks/applications. It's great if you're just going to use it for everyday tasks (social media, video playback, listening to music). Wish it had dual sim card slot for my other sim cards. The microSD card slot is appreciated since it only has 32 GB storage. It's advisable to only use one app at a time to prevent the lag since it only has 3 GB of RAM (I've seen some comments about the lagging).

Motorola G pure...worst phone I have EVER had hands down...if I had to pay 1 dollar for it I would feel I overpaid...massive lags..contact freezing... rebooting it sometimes takes literally 10 minutes...wirthless

I bought this phone last month and the very first day I got a bunch of messages telling me the UI was not responding then the phone would lock up for ten to twenty minutes. I was only able to actually use my brand new phone that day for maybe a few hours in between having it lock up and restart its self. Now a month later and I have even more problems then the UI not responding now the phone just stops running and shuts off. Thus will happen over and over for a good fourty five minutes. Then I can not receive phone calls on Facebook messenger or answer my regular line. I usually hqv to try and call who ever was calling black. But that take work as well as everything else with this crappy phone. I am really upset that this company is a loud to sell this trash in the United States. I've had a Motorola stylus in 2017 and it wasn't a bad phone. But some where Motorola stopped caring about their products and more about making profit. That only people that are getting screwed is people who can only afford the budget phones because most of us who buy them are on fixed income and can only afford them. You have to have a phone now a days especially if you're dealing with medical issues. I have to be able to have a phone in case I have to call my doctors. But because this company Motorola doesn't care what kind of product they are now putting out I just bought a phone that doesn't work half the time and I can't depend on. I don't have any money to replace this phone right now and want to use this company for tricky to get people to buy their products. They know their budget phones do work right believe me they know

I had a ZTE max prior to the Motorola G Pure phone and really liked it. After it was stolen out of my truck I bought the G Pure and haven't really had as many problems as I did with the ZTE MAX phone. G Pure phone will "glitch" and screen will freeze occasionally. But so does the $1000 iPhone and newest Galaxy flagship phones. But now it looks like I'm going to have to buy a different phone cause the G Pure doesn't support NFC. Even though every website says it does and explains how to activate it.

Purchased this inexpensive phone three weeks ago and it works very well and is reliable. I have not had no problems whatsoever.

Not a bad phone for $155. The cons...When you video yourself playing a guitar through an amp,the playback is garbly. I don't know how to fix. You can scroll as you're reading something, the phone out of the blue,will freeze. You can wait until it un freezes or,press the button on the side for 10 seconds, wait for phone to come back on and it should be unfrozen.

Easily one of the best phones I've owned for the price. It doesn't crash or freeze on me at all. Sometimes it lags, but nothing too bad. I can stream football games, baseball games, and all kinds of shows on Peacock and Paramount, plus Youtube without any issues at all. The camera isn't the best, but that's not a big deal for me.

The phone lags, freezes, and sometimes can't be answered when it rings. Streaming apps are unusable on this phone. Free government phones are renowned for being nearly unusable pieces of garbage, but the the Moto G Pure makes them look high end models of technological perfection. Motorola's CEO should be charged with fraud, forced to compensate user's of the phone for pain and suffering, and locked in a cell with a Moto G Pure while he tries to communicate with his defense attorney.

Or are you the only person in the whole world that got a motto G Pure that actually works like Motorola advertised. Because I don't know how you can be on your motto G Pure all day with all the crashes and lock ups or when the phone freezes up for 25 to 20 minutes. Or when the web or phone calls has been lost and you have to close everything out. Or when the speakers stop working so you can no longer hear your conversation
Or when the phone hangs up on you for no reason. Or it can't find the WiFi connection. I don't know if this is your first phone or what but this phone is not right. Phones should never have as many problems as the motto G Pure has. All of Samsung A phones witch are Samsungs budget phones work like a budget phone should. The A3 by Samsung is priced cheeper the this Motorola G Pure and it doesn't have issues like this motto G Pure does. I paid for a basic phone to make calls text and use Google search. Nothing else really. That's what a budget phone is , but instead I got ripped off. Motorola G phones aren't budget phones they are a way to steal people's hard earned money. If you want a budget phone but Samsung.

A $100 juicer mobile gaming rig? The phone is awesome for the price, and works just fine as a backup phone, I've had it for years now. Motorola isn't offering you "garbage", they're offering you options and you're buying the one that is lower end for lower end use. Really seems like a "you" problem.

I have owned the Moto G Pure for a year and 2 months and it has been an excellent piece of budget hardware, I am on my phone most of the time and it hasn't malfunctioned or anything and it has some good features like flashlight gesture split screen to name a couple I am happy with the Moto G Pure it does what I need it to do and I utilize pretty much everything on it like the camera, Google docs, and Drive as well as podcasts and I play games on it all with no problems so I don't know why some reviews are saying it is junk they must have got defects because this phone is solid all the way around.

Locks up alot ui crashes alot. Motorola is cheap and that what you get cheap garbage.spend a little more stay away

have this phone for like 2 weeks all i need to do on it is video watching, light gaming and stuff like that
in my opinion it gets the job done, mostly for internet browsing

This phone is nothing but a horrible way to make a person who is on a fixed income feel even more shitty about their situation. I wish I had read more before buying my pure , it hasn't worked right at all. And it is worthless. I get that some people don't understand what it is like to need a working phone for medical reasons,and not having a lot of money to buy a more expensive phone. I feel no matter what the price of a product cost it should work like it's advertised. And just because it's cheeper priced doesn't give the company producing the item the right to sell shit

I am sorry but even for a budget phone, the Motorola g pure is a rip off. I just got my phone two days ago and there isn't one thing right with it and I'm not kidding. The camera is blurry and has terrible color. The phone freezes all the time. Or it takes forever for things to work. Somethimes it charges and sometimes it won't. The brightness will go up and down on its own along with the volume. Some times the mic works and sometimes it won't. I haven't had this phone long enough to have all these issues. I get that this was a cheeper phone for people who are on a budget but come on it still should work some what. I am even having trouble with the speakers when I'm in the phone. I got cancer and then had kidney failure and do to the chemotherapy I got Osteoporosis. And ended up breaking my back in three places. I am not able to work like I was. And my Samsung note 9 stop working. And I need a phone for doctor's appointments and such. So that's how I ended up with this Motorola G Pure. And I can't understand how this phone can even be out on the market. I went in line to see if it was just my phone with all these issues, and lord and behold there are so many utube videos out there about how to fix all the problems this phone has. Really should not be like this. I have no way right now to replace this peace of plastic. And I think it's a real shame to take advantage of people on a fixed income just trying to make it out here. I would be happy if something in this phone worked right but it doesn't.
