The Moto G5S Plus is currently getting a new OTA update that includes the June security patch. However, the bigger news is that the same update brings Android 8.1 Oreo to the Motorola midranger.
In addition, the update brings new Android features as well, like new multitasking features, improvements to notification controls, and an improved data saver. There are also new battery saving features and Bluetooth improvements. The power menu’s UI also gets a new look with this update.
If you don’t see the OTA notification just yet, you may be able to manually pull the update. To do this, head to Settings > About Phone > System updates > Download and Install. Let us know if you got the update!

Can anyone help me? I downloaded the Oreo update on my phone then when I tried to install it gave me an error with the dead Android icon. I looked at the error log and it gave me this: "modem/image/cmnlib.b01 has unexpected contents"
