Nikojas, 17 Sep 2024I think Nord 4 would be a good option too. A55 is too wide and looks too chunky for my not so ... moreI hate chunky (wide) phones. I have a Moto G84 5G and i think it's the perfect size.
Nord 4 is an option. I'm just slightly worries about the metal body being wee heavy. And updates may not be as fast as Samsung such as those AI features which would be helpful like Circle To Search.
The Phone in Colors Poinciana looks very cool and it's a beauty!
Im regret because I pay money for 2 Samsung model. Because Moto have Android Stock with Now Hello Ui looks great and this phone have LTPO 6.36" display certified Pantone aluminum Frame.
Waste of money with Sammy!
Good job Moto!

From what I ha... morePhone Arena already did their review and battery results on the Edge 50 neo came out exceptionally well. For contrast, it beat the A55 in battery timing which is a phone known to have great battery life.
That 4nm chip is doing wonders here.

Wow!! Telephoto lens with OIS at this price? in a mid range phone? That's simply awesome!! One thing Samsung & other brands should learn from this company they're giving telephoto lens in almost all their phones unlike the crappy depth sensor or macro lens that most mid range phones offer these days.

Can you switch between ultrawide, wide and telephoto WITHOUT PAUSING/STOPPING the recording of 4K videos?
How is the night photo video quality?
Does the phone overheat while recording 4K videos for a long time?
Its launched in India for $275 for the 256gb version! I'm only sceptical about the ufs 2.2 and the mediocre processor - not sure if it'll still be up to speed in a couple of years time, let alone the 5 years of updates promised...
Nikojas, 16 Sep 2024Did you decide yet? I'm still waiting for battery endurance review. I also have a 10% off... moreLikewise. Were on the same boat i'm afraid. The discount is sitting there. From what I have read or seen so far 6/10 have stated battery life is really good.
If GSMArena's battery endurance comes back as 10 hours or more then I would say the battery life is sufficiently really good.
Do you have any alternatives in mind as standby? Mine is the Galaxy A55 and the OnePlus Nord 4.
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2024If it's just standby, no.So how can you explain whether having 85% battery left by 4pm (from 100% at 7am) be any good or worse?
Gino76ph, 12 Sep 2024I'm also eagerly waiting for battery reviews. But one user said that with his normal use ... moreDid you decide yet? I'm still waiting for battery endurance review. I also have a 10% off voucher making it £360 but knowing Motorola it will get a bigger discount soon. Three UK says it's selling 512gb version ,unlike Motorola website, but knowing Three it's an error.
Phonearena has reviewed this device, and the battery endurance results are pretty impressive!
People need to look beyond just the capacity and look at the consumption side as well... Both the processor and the display are pretty efficient, so you need not have high mAH count for good battery life.
Waiting for GSMArena test results for further confirmation. I thought those would be out by now.
All is good but battery should have been 4500-5000 mAh
saadbin, 15 Sep 2024Aren't they offering Moto Buds+ (valued at 149.99 euros on the website) within that €499.99?Yes on official site, but I dont need them :) for me is better to have cheaper price of phone
Darac77, 14 Sep 2024Lmao, a55 256 350€, this sh*t 499€ in EU, even pixel 8 is 500€,pixel 8a 420€,xiaomi 13t pro 4... moreAren't they offering Moto Buds+ (valued at 149.99 euros on the website) within that €499.99?
Battery should have been 5000 and ufs 3.1.
9n GSMArena hands on review ufs 2.2 mentioned
Gino76ph, 15 Sep 2024So, in your opinion 1% drain in 5 minutes is not good then? If it's just standby, no.
Anonymous, 14 Sep 20241% every 5 minutes is madness! Perhaps you meant "every 5 hours".So, in your opinion 1% drain in 5 minutes is not good then?
Darac77, 14 Sep 2024Lmao, a55 256 350€, this sh*t 499€ in EU, even pixel 8 is 500€,pixel 8a 420€,xiaomi 13t pro 4... moreyea, but this is the launch price. Give it 2 months and it will be a more reasonable 300euros, or around that price.
CamoGeko-XDA, 14 Sep 2024Why even care? Everyone puts a screen protector on and Motorola knows that.I never use a screen protector. It's purpose is only to protect against scratches and in that case gg3 is better than gg5. But if you drop the phone on the floor screen protector is not helping and in that case gg5 is better than gg3. I don't care about small scratches that collect slowly over time, don't even notice them when the screen is on.
