Motorola Android Announcement

Motorola India held an event today, introducing two devices to the local market - the already known Motorola Edge 20 and the new Motorola Edge 20 Fusion.

The Edge 20 Fusion is largely based on the Edge 20 Lite, but swaps the Dimensity 720 chipset with a more powerful Dimensity 800U.

The chipset is the main differences, but the Indian audience is also getting a cheaper 6 GB RAM option, while storage remains the same - 128 GB and a micro SD card slot.

The key selling points of the Edge 20 Fusion are the 108MP main camera and the 6.7” OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The price of the Edge 20 Fusion starts from INR21,499 ($290) and goes to INR22,999 ($310) if you want the 8GB RAM version.

Motorola India has also announced the price of Edge 20 - it is INR29,999 (just over $400). Both devices will be on Flipkart starting tomorrow, August 18.

What's your metric for comparing the two. The Dimensity 800 competes with the Snapdragon 750 and its pretty much even stevens between the two.
