Motorola Droid Turbo soak test invites hint at Android 5.1 update
It looks like Motorola Droid Turbo for Verizon Wireless is finally about to get the long-awaited update to Android 5.1 Lollipop. Owners of the smartphone have received invites for a soak test.
Earlier this month, Motorola announced that the Android 5.1 update for the smartphone is still in testing. Today, Motorola also began seeding Android 5.1 to the Moto X (2014) Pure Edition.
As you probably know by now, Motorola decided to skip the Android 5.0 update for the Droid Turbo and jump straight to Android 5.1. Currently, the high-end device runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
