The previously leaked Android One version of the Moto X4 has been made official by Google and Motorola today. It's the first Android One device that will be sold in the United States. You'll be able to purchase it from Fi, Google's carrier, for $399.
Under the hood this is identical to the already unveiled Moto X4, coming with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
On the rear there's a 12 MP + 8 MP dual camera setup, while selfies are snapped by a 16 MP shooter. The Moto X4 is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and is offered in two colors: Super Black and Sterling Blue. The phone launches running Android 7.1 Nougat in its purest form - unadulterated, unmodified, straight from Google.
An update to Android 8.0 Oreo is promised to arrive by the end of the year, and the Android One version of the X4 is said to be among the first handsets to taste Android P in 2018. Pre-orders will start at Fi later today. If you have an old Nexus phone lying around, you can trade that in for up to $165. And if you start your trade-in by October 5, you'll also earn $50 Fi credit.
how pity, ide rather have a durable phone than a disposable garbage product from xioami what a shame..
And I will never squander money on overrated and overpriced phones. I'll be more happy with more than one good product for the same money even if those are relative cheap.
Basically much better for your phone to have water protection than this boring xiaomi (iphone wane be) camera wise and hard ware wise.. I will never spend my money to this cheap xiaomi product..
