Motorola's very long-running G series of budget devices looks like it's ready to jump into double-digit space this year. Earlier today we told you about the upcoming Moto G10 and Moto G30, but there will also be a Moto G40.
This is rumored to be the device codenamed Ibiza that was spotted on Geekbench yesterday. It's powered by Qualcomm's newly unveiled entry-level 5G chipset, the Snapdragon 480, and comes with 6GB of RAM and Android 11 pre-installed. The phone has already been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, and now a tipster claims it's headed to India.
The launch should happen soon, and the Moto G40 is said to feature a 90 Hz IPS LCD. It will be billed as a budget 5G device, which is a part of the market that is rapidly crowding up lately. What's unclear is the resolution, and it could be either 720p+ or 1080p+. We're obviously hoping for the latter, but don't hold your breath. The G40 should become official before the end of the month.
Lenovo P2 was the first phone I had that lasted more than 2 days with quite heavy usage, but now they perfected battery life more with the Moto Power series so not all is last. Sad that P2 is actually thinner with its battery though.
India waiting for moto edge s and you going to launch this shit?? Seriously!!! That's the problem, may be motorolla will bring edge s after 3 /4 month and realme Xiaomi bring another edge s killer that time
P2 still one of the best phones ever released for its price point/ time Just had to put mine to rest after 5 happy years.
