realme Android Rumors

Back in June the first leaked specs for the Realme GT7 Pro got outed in China, and today the same prolific source going by the handle Digital Chat Station is back with some more details.

According to him, the current engineering prototype of the GT7 Pro has a "1.5K" micro-curved screen made by BOE, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC at the helm, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.

There is no wireless charging on board, unfortunately. There is, however, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in a decent position (which we assume to mean not too low), and the phone has an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating. It has a Sony Lytia LYT-600 3x zoom periscope camera too.

Those are all the details we have right now. According to previous rumors, the GT7 Pro will be launching towards the end of this year. It's unclear if it will be officially offered internationally as well, or if it will be confined to China. We'll let you know when we find out more.

Didn't catch their GT6 + 6T launch? They're releasing every 6 months now like some Chinese manufacturers. It's their new strategy.

Well no argue on that but you have to understand brand like Xiaomi is heavily supported from government in China. Anywhere outside the CHina mostly inm EU region is not so cheap.

I know it's not IP69 but I'll give another example with IP68. Take the Redmi 13 pro and Redmi 13 pro+. There was less than $50 between these at launch in China. The Redmi 13 pro+ had a more expensive screen, a more expensive processor and...
