Mobvoi announced the new TicWatch Pro last month, and one of its main additions is 4G LTE connectivity. At the unveiling, the company mentioned that it had partnered with Verizon in the US to let the users connect their wearables to its network. Except this hasn't been possible so far.
That will all change in a couple of days. Starting on August 8, Verizon will let you activate a TicWatch Pro 4G on its network. You can do that via the My Verizon app or the website. Wearable plans at the carrier start at $10 per month, and you'll also need to pay a one-time activation fee.
The TicWatch Pro 4G can still be yours for $20 off its usual price, if you act fast. The offer is only available for two more days over at Amazon, where the device is currently priced at $279. That will go back to $299 if you don't take advantage of this deal. If you want to learn more about the smartwatch before you make up your mind, don't miss our review.
