Global stable MIUI 9 hits Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
Xiaomi continues with the MIUI 9 global rollout. All owners of the new Mi Mix 2 should be getting the stable update of the platform with version V9.1.1.0.NDEMIEI. The package is 1.4 GB in size.
MIUI 9 brings plenty of new features like Split screen, Search for apps in the Dual apps settings and plenty of design changes. The icons are new, animations for launching and exiting apps are also updated. Xiaomi also did a lot of performance optimizations.
With the new MIUI 9, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 joins the company of Mi 6, Redmi 4, Mi 5, Mi5s Plus and Mi Max 2, all of them already having the latest version of MIUI.

Perhaps that's specific to your case. I found MIUI 9 memory management better than MIUI 8, I never get freeze moment anymore despite opening the same set of apps when I was still in MIUI 8. The notification also works better where I still get notific...

HEY GsmARENA how about a battery test with updated software? there were claims of drastic fall. then your test results may be out of date.
