Elaswany, 02 Dec 2022I have nokia 3 and want to buy this can you tell me your experience in using the two phonesWell, to anwser your question, the camera is like you would execpt, but the major downsides of the phone is the app store and Internet Explorer installed on this device (unless you upgrade it to windows phone 10), Display is a bit fragile too, Overall, this and most of the Windows phones had potential to be good phones, but failed.

Loved this phone and its predecessor- to me-Lumia 900. I still have my 640. I use it for an MP3 player, a picture viewer, a few apps and games that still work on it, The internet and as a very portable Microsoft Office device. The phone part of the phone worked on the AT&T network up until last fall (2021) when they ended the 3g network. Still, the Windows phone OS was damn good.

This phone (Lumia 640 LTE) could get succeed globally, in terms of market share, because of its robust operating system, but nobody cared. All attention (software development companies) was on Android or iOS. It is roughly useless (only useful for text and call) on these days.

I still use a 640 LTE (also have a 635) in 2021... I'll confess I had to fall back to it because my Android was stolen... I found a very supportive group of folks who still use Lumias and are very very supportive too... Google "Windows Universal Tool" and you should be able to access everything you need to get this phone up and running just fine in 2021. The only thing it can't do no matter what is run WA - Yes, even WA Web... I have access to Telegram, Discord, Twitter and most other Social Sites are available to be "installed" as PWAs... Have used it for a year now and I'm getting an Android soon, I have to dump the 640 because miner is still carrier locked and I can't get it unlocked... Sad but I have to move on...

Roddy, 20 Dec 2020Don't do it! Windows 8.1 shines brightly, Windows 10 is a slug and glitchy on this phone.Mine not, and if you want a function device, stick with latest Windows 10 Mobile

LumiaUser, 09 Dec 2020If you are a Windows Insider, you should be able to download Windows 10. I did a few years ago. Not now, they already shut it down
