The Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has just announced its latest device - the Micromax In 1. It has the body of the Micromax In note 1 but comes with a slightly more affordable price tag. The lower cost means less impressive Helio G80 chipset and a triple camera.
The Micromax In 1 has a 6.67” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a small punch hole in the middle for the selfie camera. The Mediatek chip is coupled with 4GB RAM and two storage options - 64GB and 128 GB, but the official listing doesn’t say anything about a microSD slot.
The camera setup on the back looks as if it holds four cameras, but alas, there are only three - 48MP main + 2 MP macro + 2 MP depth units. The selfie shooter is 8MP with an f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus.
Micromax is really proud of its “marathon battery” with 5,000 mAh capacity. It supports fast-charging with rates up to 18W through a USB-C port. It also revealed there is no custom user interface, just pure Android 10 with “no ads, no bloatware, no skins”. The In 1 has L1 Widevine support to watch streaming services in Full HD and comes with Dual Wi-Fi, Dual VoLTE connectivity options.
The Micromax In 1 will arrive for sale on March 26 in Blue or Pink through the company’s official website. It comes in two prices, depending on the internal storage - INR9,999 ($135/€115) or INR11,499 ($160/€135).
I like the triple camera setup I think it's quite good for the price. Nice one with the mediatek gaming chipset
