Meizu Android

As scheduled, Meizu made the M5s official today. The device is powered by an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.3GHz on a MediaTek MT6753 chipset. It is built around a 5.2-inch IPS display of 720p resolution.

RAM is 3GB, while internal memory options include 16GB and 32GB (storage is expandable by up to 128GB).

The Meizu M5s features a 13MP primary camera with PDAF F/2.2 5-element lens and a dual-tone LED flash. The front shooter has a 5MP sensor.

The phone draws its power from a 3,000mAh battery, which the company claims can be charged from 0 to 19% in 10 minutes.

Featuring a metal body, the handset comes with an mTouch fingerprint scanner, and offers support for dual-SIM and VoLTE.

Color options for the M5s include black, silver, gold, and rose gold.

Prices are RMB799 or about $115 for the 16GB version and RMB999 or $145 for 32GB of internal storage.

What's wrong with Mediatek ??? And don't tell me it is weak. Because it is cheaper too. These $20 more you're talking about will cost for some users more than you think! Anyway, an updated Mediatek chip would have been better than the MT6753.
