So far, there have been expectations of an August launch for the Meizu 16 series of smartphones. However, the latest development suggests the devices may arrive sooner than that.
In an interaction with the Meizu community, the Chinese company's founder and CEO Jack Wong has said the series will be launched as soon as possible.
If you read between the lines, an August launch is still possible (after all 'as soon as possible' doesn't guarantee a particular time frame). But given that Wong's response came after community members told the CEO that they are fine with a mid-August launch, it's reasonable to say the company could out the series in July.
The Meizu 16 will be available in two variants, one confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC, while the other one by Snapdragon 710 chipset. There won't be a notch, but an in-display fingerprint sensor and a pressure-sensitive mBack button will be present.
I though Meizu was a Chinese company, but the background on the phone is definitely Mt. Fuji, am I missing something, Alternate solution to vivo/oppo sliding cam.
Make it in black too or like that early concept with black bezels and for EU market. Thanks!
