Extremely laggy in 2020. Functional for phone calls and directions but very annoying when web browsing or using apps. I run it without a case and can't seem to get it to break. I will be retiring it to back up phone status.

This phone is fine in some areas: call voice quality when using it normally or speakerphone, durability, memory slot, battery life. Big however though, the camera is terrible. Who would put up with a 1-2 second lag when hitting the button? I reduced photo size to 6 MP just to get rid of the lag, but the photos are still terrible; my 2012 EscapeP870 was much better. Also, the Bluetooth works sometimes, sometimes not at all, sometimes sounds great, sometimes extremely garbled whether the car's or my earpiece. Saving the most annoying for last. The dialer. Androids normally just pick up the number from your contact list when you start entering the letters of the name, with tones, too. Well, not this phone. Sometimes you get tones, usually not, sometimes the names pop right up, mostly it's 30 seconds before it can find it, sometimes it will find your contact, sometimes nothing but "add to contacts". I've tried to recreate situations when it works and when it doesn't but it's truly a schizo phone.

I have had my phone for 6 months. Just this past week the volume level has started to randomly drop. I took it to our local AT@T store, they thought they have fixed it but it started doing it again. I've missed calls because of this. Anyone else having this issue?

It wo... morehi , u can use a hair dryer ,i had problem same like u , turn off your device and use hair dryer exactly on the lower socket for about 5 to 10 minutes ... turn on & you will not see any massage.....
generally when u turn off this soaked mobile, u can use your charger ,then will start to charging....
