Currently using this phone android 12, heavily modified kt stock from software manual dac impedance control (no need to use higher ohm adapter to fool it), proper Carrier aggregation (CA) configuration and apn for ph sim smart and globe networks, updated bluetooth software and drivers (can properly detect and use nintendo switch controller, enabled aptx adapt) shows ethernet option when ethernet cable is plugged in the usb c hub, or usb type c to ethernet dongle, hardware added ptm honeywell 7950 and some copper sheets and graphite sheet to help with the thermals.
Using it at work on the field for finding best 4g and 5g towers to connect, reflash sdcard software of raspberry Pi or orange pi, quick configuration of outdoor wifi ap via ethernet port, alternate computer that can actually do word document, exel and powerpoint using the built-in lg screen+ (its like samsung dex) any monitor or tv that has wireless screen or hdmi or vga port will do, then connect bt or wireless 2.4 keyboard and mouse.
Always have the 12 in 1 usb type c hub with me along with hdmi cable, vga cable, ethernet cable, and wireless keyboard mouse combo so i can work almost anywhere without bringing a laptop.
Though i might go to samsung in the near future since only samsung galaxy s and ultra series have proper alternative desktop mode.

The solution that worked for me is to clone the applications using Parallel Space (you can find it with that name on Google Play). By opening a cloned app in Parallel Space the permission is enabled and your recordings should now have audio.

My currently phone is this. I'm usually use for daily and gaming. Everything is be good. I only had a problem about screen record third party, could not support internal audio for some application, like Geometry Dash, Asphalt 8,9. If you looking for gaming, this should be decent.

Great phone! Bought it after the Pixel 3.
Cool: display, camera, sound, battery, assembly. A flash card and headphone jack are a bonus.
I regret that there is no separate telephoto camera, but I can live without it)
In general, I am very satisfied with the phone, it has been updated to Android 12, everything works quickly and smoothly.

Got mine (refurbished) in July 2023, reset it and after two days of use sim network was unavailable. Fixed it thru data wiping n later not more than a week the network issues showed.....and that's all; tried every software solution including with software experts but all in vains.
Pros; super fast, great in camera in day and night with numerous features, up to 2tb expandable storage(SD card) despite it's 256gb rom, impressive display, headphone jack sound quality is second to none, supports external display to PCs(a feature called second screen located in the notification panels)
Cons: stereo speakers could sound better, 8gb ram in total but a max of 5 usable (thus on a fresh boot up), very slippery and extremely fragile, disappointing image quality in camera zoom

Larry , 16 Jul 2022I noticed that on Android 11 and 12 is both lag in scrolling home screen setting... , So i dec... moreI feel the recent software updates from LG have diminishing returns as most of them having lot of niggling issues and most importantly optimization issues. This is because after 2020, the year of Android 10 and the last year when LG mobile division were in full force, every other update that arrived henceforth mainly had optimization and many niggling issues. The deep rooted cause was software quality control and with their mobile software division size dramatically reduced from 2021 and dwindling ever since as the resources gets allocated to other divisions ... we get the cause ... and its effect.
It is the reason why both my G8X (4G version of V50S) runs on Android 10 (I downgraded one of them from Android 11 to Android 10), while with cheap and cheerful K42 I took the risk of Android 12 update and hence not so satisfied.
