del, 05 Jul 2024bro how long does v50 battery last??My mother uses this, it lasts 36 hours + with her light usage of calls, whatsapp(audio/video) and youtube.
If I would have been using this it will not go more than 18/19 hours as I have heavy usage(don't play games).
But, if you are planning to get it now, there is a very thin chance that you will find one with good battery condition(original battery)

The display cutout of this phone is yucky. They really tried to make an android phone an iphone 🤮

V50 May 2024 user experience:
The 4000mah battery capacity is already showing it's drawback but a fresh replacement should solve it.
The SD855 is still able to keep up with today's midranged phones(mostly with Helio G99).
For gaming:
Beta tested Zenless Zone Zero and Wuthering Waves with it and the only problems I ran into is overheating and poor optimizations which can be solved by using a proper phone cooler and regular updates.
Currently playing Wuthering Waves at high resolution on 60fps with stable performance.
Zenless Zone Zero has minimal lag spikes but it didn't receive it's first optimizations patch yet so it might get improved later.

Love this phone, have had it for almost 4 years. Had the V30 before this one. This phone series was amazing, a shame LG doesn't make smartphones anymore.
FWIW, on Verizon at least, this got updated to Android 12.

Jnnk2256, 03 Jan 2024After carefully looking at all these latest flagships,trying to find replacement for my 4.5 ye... moreyou could use force 5G on Korean v500n LG phones trick from some reddit page. and 5g can open up even in EU, one thing if you want to get calls, you might need to use 5/4/3g app which forces 5g back to 3g, so you could get calls at least over 3g, because calls over 5g/4g do not work with this phone in EU, i tried in UK, it doesn't, it is waiting for HSPA/WCDMA channels, or else it will hangup

It was a really good phone, but unfortunately NOT for too long. My friends and I bought the LG V50 2 years ago, and in the last couple of months we are starting to have the same issue: VERY LAGGY performance to the point I have to restart it each time. The 3 of us use them differently. My first friend always plays genshin / LoL, my second friend only uses facebook/instagram, and I use all socials + I sometimes edit videos on it using Inshot/tiktok. Even my V40 held up way better than this V50. I don't recommend it now.

This is the best phone camera I ever had, it has similar quality as iPhone output images (except for front facing camera - iphone wins in this particular area but still it is better than any other phone)
